Mountain rescue teams help collapsed man in Castleton

Buxton and Edale Mountain Rescue Teams snatch squad were called to Cavedale, Castleton, after a man suffered a medical collapse.

The teams attended the scene on Monday evening. The 28-year-old was treated by team members initially before the arrival of the air ambulance.

However, because of his injuries, it was decided to take him to Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, in a land ambulance where he received further treatment.
