MIKAEEL KULAR: Heanor Man arrested over alleged racist tweets
Officers arrested the 26-year-old Heanor man this morning on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public order offence.
Members of the public in Edinburgh had complained about the content of some Twitter messages linked to the disappearance of three-year-old Mikaeel Kular.

Hide AdThe man was questioned and released on police bail while the Crown Prosecution Service considers the case.
Mikaeel was reported missing from his Edinburgh home on Thursday, prompting a major search operation.
His body was later found around 25 miles away in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
His mother, Rosdeep Kular, will appear in court today at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in connection with his death.

Hundreds of local volunteers joined police and various agencies to hunt for the toddler.
The body was later removed from a wooded area behind a property in Dunvegan Avenue.
