Meet Britain's youngest champ boxer - a five-year-old who already holds FIVE world records and has fans including David Haye.

Caden James only took up the sport a year ago but is already punching above his weight and stepping into the ring with children much older than him.

The Chesterfield youngster has also got a heavyweight social media following with thousands of supporters on Instagram - including boxing stars David Haye and Dillian Whyte.

Caden, nicknamed 'The Tornado', came from a troubled background and spent some time in care.

But he now lives happily with dad Stuart - who credits boxing with improving his son's confidence.

The youngster trains in a gym three times a week, also working out at home between sessions.

And he is already sponsored by several brands - even trying his hand at modelling for one clothing supplier.

Stuart, 45, said: "He's only been boxing a year but he's come out of his shell. It started when I bought him a little punchbag. Straight away his timing was perfect.

"He can now body spar for three rounds - and in the third anything goes. He's already working with people who are older, stronger and faster.

"He trains three times a week with professionals but he does stuff at home with me too."

Caden and his brothers and sisters live with biological dad Stuart, a construction site manager, and his partner in Chesterfield.

He is no longer in contact with his birth mum, and was taken out of care by Stuart in 2017.

But three years later and he's a five-time world record holder - officially recognised by Kids World Records.

His titles include most punch and sit-up combinations in a minute and most push-ups in a minute in his age category.

And it's not just boxing for Caden, who also loves football and sprinting and does well at school.

Stuart said: "He's just sporty all the way through, but he's absolutely fantastic at school too. He's on the council.

"But he asks me to box every day. It's me who has to say that he needs a rest! He just loves it."

Little Caden, who boxes orthodox, only weighs 19kg and stands at 3ft 2in - but still packs an impressive punch.

One of his coaches is Robin Reid, a former professional boxer who won bronze at the Olympics as an amateur in 1992.

He said: "When he came to me I could tell he had potential. It's quite amazing, for a five year-old. He's got a cracking left hook.

"It's going really, really well. He's taking in what I'm telling him. Each time I see him he's mastered what I have taught him. He listens, he learns.

"It's about teaching discipline and social skills - it's not just fighting. It's all about positivity.

"He's got the potential to go far in the game. You just never know but, from what I've seen, he can go as far as he wants."
