Rebecca Goodridge, Neil Hallam and Peter Keeble were chosen by judging panel led by Jonathan Reilly of JonathanChristian photography.

Jonathan said there was ‘a very strong selection of entries this year’.

He said: “It’s clear people thought about the subject, Remembrance, while considering their shots. The winning shots say it all.”

Councillor David Barker the Mayor of Matlock said: “In this centenary year of the outbreak of World War One it has been wonderful to see the local photographic interpretations of remembrance, we are pleased that the Photographer of the Year Competition continues to attract local support and local talent and I congratulate the winners Rebecca, Neil and Peter.”
