MATLOCK BATH: Woman suffers serious facial injuries

A 37–year–old woman is in hospital being treated for serious facial injuries following an incident in Matlock Bath.

The woman was picked up by a passing motorist at around 7pm yesterday (March 10) in Clifton Road.

The police are now trying to trace the ‘Good Samaritan’, who dropped the injured woman off at Whitworth Hospital, in the hope she can help with their investigation.

The driver is described being female with dark hair. The make and model of the car is unknown.

Officers have yet to confirm how the woman came to be injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
