Man suffers heart attack on Kinder
The Buxton and Edale mountain rescue teams snatch squad was called to Edale on Tuesday afternoon to help a walker suffering a heart attack on Grindslow Knoll, Kinder Scout.
The 57-year-old man from Manchester was walking with two friends when he became unwell complaining of chest pains.
Life-saving treatment was administered by air ambulance paramedics and a cardiologist who was running nearby.
The man was airlifted to the specialist cardiac unit at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
