Man dies in Derbyshire crash

At around 3.55pm on Wednesday, March 14, a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a grey Ford Ranger were involved in a collision on the A57 in Moscar.

A 58-year-old man riding the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His relatives have been informed and are receiving support from officers.

It is understood the motorcycle was travelling out of Sheffield towards Derbyshire when the collision happened.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Were you travelling in the area at the time? Did you witness the collision?

"Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may hold dashcam footage of the collision.

"Please call us on 101 and quote incident number 563 of March 14, 2018."
