Man cut free from overturned lorry in Derbyshire

A man has been rescued from an overturned lorry this morning.

Firefighters attended the incident on A5012 Grange Mill, Cromford, Matlock, just after 8am and freed a man trapped inside the cab of the lorry by removing the windscreen.

The i newsletter cut through the noise

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said the man is believed to be uninjured but was being checked over by East Midlands Ambulance Service as a precautionary.

There were traffic delays in the area.

Derbyshire police also attended.
