Man, 88, dies after being hit by mobility scooter in Derbyshire town
Police are questioning a 79-year-old man after the death of a pensioner who was hit by a mobility scooter.
At 10.45am on Tuesday, February 3, the 88-year-old victim was waiting for a bus on Bath Street, Ilkeston.
He was struck by the scooter and taken to a nearby shop while waiting for an ambulance.
He died from his injuries in hospital on Wednesday.
Witnesses should call Derbyshire police on 101.
