Machete wielding robbers raid couple’s home

Armed robbers broke into a house in Killamarsh and forced the homeowners to hand over cash and jewellery.

Four men went into a house in Station Road at about 8.30pm on Sunday, March 2 armed with weapons including what was thought to be a machete.

The robbers demanded valuables from the occupants and made off with a substantial amount of cash and jewellery.

The four offenders ran off along Station Road and turned onto nearby Havercroft Terrace.

All of the robbers were dressed in dark clothing and wore black balaclavas. They were all described as skinny build and about 5ft 10ins.
