Lionel Richie says hello to Chesterfield ahead of summer gig at the Proact Stadium

The hit-maker will perform at the venue on Thursday, June 21, as part of a UK-wide tour.

And ahead of his appearance he’s been to the home of the Spireites to check out the stadium and to show his support to Chesterfield FC in their fight against relegation from the Football League.

He said: “Good luck to Chesterfield FC for the rest of the season! Looking forward to performing at the legendary Proact Stadium in June.”

Lionel will perform hits from his extensive and much-loved repertoire spanning decades, all the way from the Commodores to the present day.

His shows are world-renowned for their party atmosphere and fans will be able to enjoy timeless mega-hits and sing along to classics such as Dancing on the Ceiling, Hello and All Night Long.

The Lionel Richie ‘All The Hits’ tour will run from Friday, June 1 until Sunday, June 24.
