Lionel Richie says hello to Chesterfield ahead of summer gig at the Proact Stadium

Global megastar Lionel Richie '“ one of the world's best-selling music artists '“ has visited Chesterfield ahead of his concert at the Proact Stadium in June.

The hit-maker will perform at the venue on Thursday, June 21, as part of a UK-wide tour.

And ahead of his appearance he’s been to the home of the Spireites to check out the stadium and to show his support to Chesterfield FC in their fight against relegation from the Football League.

He said: “Good luck to Chesterfield FC for the rest of the season! Looking forward to performing at the legendary Proact Stadium in June.”
