Library set to close for three months amid work
Matlock library is to close for three months as essential maintenance work is carried out.
The library, in Steep Turnpike, will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday, 15 January to 9am on Monday, 10 March while Derbyshire County Council installs a new heating system.
During the closure, readers will get longer loan times and be allowed to borrow more items.
Library members are usually allowed to borrow 16 items at a time for a three-week loan period.
However, during the closure, items will not have to be renewed until the library reopens.
