LETTER: NatWest closure is a tragedy for the town centre

I have used Staveley's NatWest bank for 22 years. Both my children and I bank there.

My disabled boys even know the staff and they help them to use their accounts.

I honestly cannot believe NatWest would choose to shut such a busy branch.
There is never a day you can just pop in, there’s always a queue waiting to use this service from business owners, market stall holders, the elderly and the general public.
To lose the NatWest would be a tragedy to Staveley town centre and for many people there would be no point using Staveley, which would be very sad to see the small businesses go under.
