Richard James Barden, 49, of Victoria Street North, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control. Ordered to keep the dog under control on a lead and with a muzzle at all times in public or it will be destroyed. Fined £290 and must pay a £29 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Pleaded guilty to being the owner of a dog which worried livestock. No separate penalty.

James Robert Carlisle, 29, of The Crescent, Langwith Junction. Pleaded guilty to damaging the bonnet and wing mirror of a vehicle. Fined £298 and must pay £455.10 compensation, a £29 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

John Martin David Green, 58, of Rocester Way, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to being drunk in a public place when he was prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £180 courts charge.

Daniel Robert Houghton, 24, of Bevan Drive, Inkersall, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to being jointly with two others having entered a flat as a trespasser and stole a television. Community order to last until March 31, 2017, with a 16-week curfew and electronic monitoring, a thinking skills programme, and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Must pay £83.33 and £13.33 in compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, £40 costs and a £180 courts charge. Admitted the commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence. No action taken on the breach.
