Large animal rescue
Firefighters from Matlock and Long Eaton were called to a ‘large animal rescue’ on Saturday, April 13.
The incident occurred at 11.41am at a property on Hopwell Road, Draycott, and involved one horse which had fallen in it stable.
Crews used specialist rope-rescue equipment, from Matlock station, to pull the horse on to its feet. They were assisted by a forklift truck already at the property.
