Improvedassistancefor trainpassengers

Rail passengers who need assistance travelling through stations and getting on and off trains are being given a helping hand.

East Midlands Trains has launched an improved assistance scheme which includes the booking time for such help being halved from 24 hours to 12 hours.

Bookings for assistance can be made at any time of the day or night through the Derby-based customer contact centre in Derby or online.
