Hundreds of cannabis plants discovered by police
Hundreds of cannabis plants have been found in a building in Derbyshire.
Police spent a day recovering the plants from the building in the Market Place, Long Eaton. Officers were first called to the scene at 12.50pm on August 4.
A spokeswoman for the police said it was estimated at this stage that hundreds of plants had been found but a final count had not taken place yet. She added that nobody had been arrested and anybody with any information should call police on 101.
She said: “We would like anybody who knows anything about this incident to please contact us.”
