Grass fire in Pinxton
Firefighters were called to the railway bridge in Pinxton yesterday evening with reports of grass on fire.
Crews frm Alfreton attended the call to Alexander Terrace in Pinxton at around 6pm on Thursday, June 4 where the confirmed an area of grass covering 100 square metres.
The fire was approximately 800 yards form the road, described as beneath a railway bridge
Crews used beaters to extinguish the fire.
