Firefighters tackling blaze in Derbyshire village

Firefighters have been tackling a barn blaze in a Derbyshire village.

Crews were called to the incident in Holloway near Matlock at around 9.15am on Saturday.

Shortly before noon, a spokesperson for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reel jets to tackle the fire.

“East Midlands Ambulance Service and Derbyshire Constabulary are also in attendance.”

No further information has been released at this stage – but there are no reports of any injuries.
