Firefighters tackle skip blaze
Firefighters from Alfreton were called out yesterday evening to attend a skip fire in Somercotes.
The incident - which happened on Birchwood Way at 5.12pm - involved one skip on fire.
The crew used a hose to extinguish the fire and left the scene at 5.39pm
