Firefighters tackle Holmewood industrial unit blaze
Firefighters from Chesterfield and Clay Cross were called out to a fire in an industrial building in Holmewood yesterday afternoon.
The incident took place on Moor Close at around 2.45pm and involved acetylene cylinders which had ignited within the building.
The crews made sure everybody who was in the building at the time was safely out and used a hose and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
They then made sure the premises were safe, removing one oxygen cylinder in the process, and began a fire investigation.
