Fire chiefs attended the scene on Somerset Drive, Brimington, just after 7.45pm on Friday.

"The crew used hydraulic cutting gear on the fence to release the cat which was passed into the care of its owner and taken to the vet to be treated," Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
