Firefighters lead man to safety after Matlock flat blaze
Firefighters led a man to safety when a blaze broke out in his Matlock flat.
Crews from Matlock were called to the property on Smedley Street at about 2.20pm today.
Upon arrival, they battled a fire in the man’s bedroom.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “Crews safely escorted the man outside. There were no injuries.”
It is not clear how the fire started.
