Firefighters attend Dronfield shop fire
Firefighters from Dronfield and Staveley were called out to a fire in a shop on Church Street on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire began shortly after midday in a large ground floor storage area within the three storey retail unit and led to nearby buildings being evacuated as a precaution.
The police and ambulance services also attended the incident but there were no injuries.
The crews used breathing apparatus and a hose to extinguish the fire and left the shop’s owner with fire prevention advice.
