Fire crews from across Derbyshire called to scene of gas leak on busy Chesterfield road
A number of fire crews from across the county were deployed to a gas leak in Chesterfield this morning.
At 11.25am today, firefighters attended a property on Chatsworth Road in Chesterfield – following reports of a gas leak.
Crews from Staveley, Clay Cross and Chesterfield were called to the scene, before the gas and electricity supply were isolated.

Hide AdA Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: “The incident was left in the care of Cadent and all persons were accounted for.”
