Fire crews extinguish blazing grassland
Firefighters extinguished an out of control grass fire.
The fire was discovered near Heath Road, at Holmewood, near Chesterfield, about 2.30pm, today, Saturday, May 14.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said that grassland in a wooded area was on fire.
Staveley firefighters used beaters and back-packs to put out the fire and make the area safe by about 3.15pm.
