Fifth generation female has arrived

The final addition, six week-old Mae Marven, was born at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on May 18, weighing in at 6lb 8oz.

Also pictured from left are great, great-grandmother Irene Gallagher, 88, Sue Owens, 60, Amanda Hawkes, 40 and Laura Bower, 20.

Dave Owens, 67, of Barton Crescent, Holme Hall, who is great grandfather to Mae, said: “I feel a bit old being a great-grandfather but we are all very, very happy. It was a bit like playing pass the parcel when we were in the hospital.”
