Estate agent faces fraud charges
An estate agent will appear in crown court this week to answer to three charges of fraud.
Helen Gregory 54, of Valley Road, Spital, Chesterfield, allegedly kept tenants’ money by opting not to pay it into the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) – a legal requirement by the Housing Act 2004.
She is due to enter a plea at Derby Crown Court on Friday.
