Staff at National Grid have apologised for delays in restoring power after an early-morning outtage in Chesterfield.
The power-cut impacted homes in the S43 postocde area that includes Staveley and Brimington. National Grid had hoped to have power restored by 5.30am this morning and has apologised for the delay.
Power has now been restored to some homes in the area with rest expected to be reconnected in the next hour
