Dudes look like ladies in Ashgate Hospice Drag Race
Hot legs pounded the pavements of Chesterfield as weird and wonderful fancy-dressed hunks ran up cash for Ashgate Hospice.
The annual Drag Race attracted hundreds of men in imaginative costumes, ranging from a Cher lookalike in fishnets and black curly wig to an Abba-esque Agnetha in satin trouser suit.
One competitor was dolled up like a runaway bride and a posse of “cowgirls” customised their trainers to look like boots.
A warm-up to the strains of Dude Looks Like A Lady in the Town Hall car park forged team spirit before the runners sped off down Saltergate and up Newbold Road, spurred on by drivers who honked horns as they passed by.
