An overheated combine harvester caught fire in Duckmanton and had to be extinguished by firefighters.

Yesterday, Saturday, August 18 at 7.47pm firefighters from Staveley were called out to Chesterfield Road.

A spokesman for Derbyshir Fire and Rescue said: “The crew used one hose reel jet to cool the engine which had overheated.”
