Drugs awareness evening in Wirksworth

Parents in Wirksworth and Middleton are invited to attend an event to help increase their awareness around drugs and young people.

The information evening will take place at the Wirksworth Town Hall on Thursday, November 6, at 7pm.

PCSO Sue Lester will be there with partner agencies including local youth workers, Spoda, and T3.

A guest speaker from Derbyshire Constabulary will also be attending the event to chat to parents about drug related issues and to answer any concerns that they may have.

The Safer Neighbourhood policing team will be on hand to offer advice and agency displays will also be put in place to offer further information and show the help and support that is available.
