Dream job for Dales dancer

Emily Rathbone, of Oker, graduated from the Northern Ballet School, Manchester, in July and landed her ideal contract with Celebrity Cruises immediately after.

She will fly to Florida later this month for rehearsals then join the ship, Celebrity Silhouette, in Venice this October.

Emily said: “At the moment I’m returning in May, but Celebrity have enquired about extending this to July. It’s my dream job – I can’t wait!”

Emily trained at the Claire Dobinson School of Dancing, Darley Dale, from the age of five and successfully auditioned for Northern Ballet School three years ago.
