The 68-year-old not only survived a vote as ex-soccer player Jimmy Bullard was booted off the show but she’s made the headlines with her talk of her sexual exploits.

Outspoken Edwina, who has strong ties to Tideswell and lives in the High Peak, enjoyed a tussle with Jimmy Bullard and branded herself as a cougar who had enjoyed some sexual dalliances.

She also excelled in a tribal challenge called Round the Twist when she beat Suprebike race star Carl Foggarty when both had to stand on a revolving pole while trying to hang on to a button.

Edwina had to crawl through a series of boxes with spiders, cockroaches, lizards, eels and giant green ants for company during her first Bushtucker trial.

The show runs from 9pm, on ITV, every evening.
