Derbyshire weather update

The Met Office has forecast a dry but cool Bank Holiday Monday, today, May 25, in and around Derbyshire and the East Midlands.

It is expected to be generally dry, although cooler than Sunday with rather cloudy skies.

There is a chance of a little light rain in a few spots, according to the Met Office.

There may be a few brighter intervals, most likely late in the day.

By tonight, it is expected to stay mostly dry overnight, although a few isolated showers are still possible in the evening.

Winds will remain light, according to the Met Office.

Temperatures have been forecast to reach as high as 13 degrees centigrade and to fall as low as nine degrees centigrade.
