Derbyshire travel update

Motorists and commuters are facing the following delays and disruptions to travel today, Tuesday, July 15, in and around Chesterfield and Derbyshire.

The Horns Bridge roundabout, off the A61 and A617, near Chesterfield town centre, is still partially coned off with partial lane closures and its traffic lights are still not operating.

Work at the roundabout is expected to continue for some weeks as part of plans to erect a statue.

Elsewhere, the A38 Derbyshire is very slow traffic on A38 northbound in Derby between Palm Court Island and Little Eaton Island. In the roadworks area.

A52 Derbyshire - One lane closed and slow traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way eastbound in Borrowash before Nottingham, because of a broken down car. Congestion to A453 Nottinghamshire - Heavy traffic on A453 westbound in Lockington between the Kegworth Road junction and East Midlands Airport. In the roadworks area.

M1 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on M1 southbound at J25, A52 (Nottingham).
