A Derbyshire road is closed after a tractor shed its load.

Derbyshire police officers are warning motorists to avoid Cat and Fiddle Lane, at West Hallam, near Ilkeston.

The force tweeted at about 2pm today (Sunday, August 23): “Cat and Fiddle Lane towards West Hallam is currently closed due to debris in the road that has fallen from a tractor.

"Please avoid the area and take alternative routes where possible.”

Call police on 101 if you have information.
