Derbyshire detectives are appealing for the public's help to trace a vehicle as part of a murder investigation.

Father-of-three Geoff Seggie, 59, was found dead at his home in Marylebone Crescent in Mackworth, Derby, after police were called there over concerns for his safety on Thursday.

A murder investigation has been launched and police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a car belonging to the victim.

Mr Seggie's black Honda Civic Sport, registration FH04 YCP, is missing from his address.

Anyone who knows where the vehicle might be, or who may have information which could help the murder investigation, should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting incident 435 of December 1.
