Derbyshire man dies in crash

A motorcyclist from Derbyshire has died in a crash.

At around 12pm on Sunday, Lincolnshire Police received a call about a collision on the A607 in Grantham, near the Belton Garden Centre.

A force spokesperson said: “The collision involved a motorcycle and a silver Toyota Corolla.

“The motorcycle rider, a man in his 50s from the Derbyshire area, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”

Officials have not yet identified the man.

Police are now investigating the tragedy and appealing for witnesses.
