Derbyshire drivers warned of M1 delays after vehicle catches fire

Highways England is warning drivers of rush-hour delays this morning, after lanes were closed on the M1 motorway after a vehicle fire.

The incident, on the M1 southbound between junctions J31 and J30 is leading to delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic conditions, after two lanes of the motorway were closed.

The agency says normal traffic conditions are not expected until 8.30am this morning
