David Berrecloth, 83, was visiting the pool last year when he collapsed in the main reception.

Pool duty manager Lee Rathbone and colleague Dave Pryor used a defibrillator and the kiss of life to revive Mr Berrecloth after he stopped breathing.

The former herdsman, of Rowland, said: “I can’t thank them enough.”
