At 8pm on Saturdays, lanes one and two will again be closed leaving lane three open to traffic.
All lanes will re-open at 10am on Sundays.
Arun Sahani, Highways Agency project manager, said: “Although most of the work will be carried out at night, there will be lane restrictions in place all day on Saturdays and until 10am on Sundays. We therefore advise road users to allow extra time for their journeys.”
A Highways Agency spokesman added: “The current 50mph speed limit will remain in place throughout these works to ensure the safety of road users and the workforce.
