Delays for Derbyshire drivers after M1 crash leads to ‘very slow traffic’

Traffic monitoring site Inrix has reported a collision on the M1 southbound between Junction 29 and 28 – with one lane currently closed.

Congestion is building in the area, with traffic moving very slowly along the route following the accident.

This will impact drivers coming off at the A38 between Alfreton and Mansfield, as well as motorists looking to access the A617 at Junction 29, which connects the motorway to the A617 between Chesterfield and Mansfield.
