Two Sheffield men jailed for drug dealing in Chesterfield

Two Sheffield men have been jailed for a total of 10 years between them for dealing cannabis and cocaine on the streets of Chesterfield.

James Sheridan, 21, of Kirkton Road, Sheffield, and Jamie Dyer, 36, of Overend Close, Sheffield, were caught by police with large quantities of Class A and Class B drugs as well as more than £20,000 in cash.

Sheridan was also found to be in possession of a firearm.

Derbyshire Constabulary officers believe their offending is believed to have taken place between January and June 2019.

Both men pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cannabis and cocaine, and Sheridan also pleaded guilty to possession of the firearm.

Sheridan was jailed for seven years and six months and Dyer was handed a sentence of three years and nine months following the hearing at Derby Crown Court on Friday, March 20.
