The latest court cases heard by Chesterfield and Derby magistrates

Everett Carty, 63, of Springfield Crescent, Bolsover: Guilty of driving while banned and uninsured. Jailed for 12 weeks suspended for two years as was caught driving car purchased while disqualified and with associated bad driving. Given 100 hours unpaid work, made to pay £128 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Allan Bramley, 50, of Wellspring Close, Wingerworth, Chesterfield: Guilty of driving above the speed limit of 50 miles per hour – namely 67 miles per hour – at a temporary restriction on the M1. Fined £440, made to pay £44 victim surcharge and £90 court costs. Driving record endorsed with four points.

Ashley Cresswell, 50, of Fir Road, Eckington: Guilty of driving at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour – namely 38 miles per hour. Fined £220, made to pay £90 court costs and £34 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three points.

Adam Cunningham, 38, of Paxton Road, Tapton, Chesterfield: Guilty of driving above the speed limit of 50 miles per hour – namely 58 miles per hour – on the M1 where variable speed limits apply. Fined £220, made to pay £90 court costs and £34 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points.

Julie Ellis, 51, of Chestnut Drive, Hollingwood, Chesterfield: Guilty of driving at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour - namely 36 miles per hour. Fined £146, made to pay £90 court costs and £34 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points.

Billy Gayles, 28, of Stand Road, Newbold, Chesterfield: Guilty of failing to provide information identifying the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £660 made to pay £90 court costs and £66 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Simon Gill, 55, of Hickinwood Lane, Clowne, Chesterfield: Guilty of driving at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour - namely 36 miles per hour. Case adjourned.

Gheorghe Manascu, 42, of Victoria Court, Chesterfield Road, Alfreton: Guilty of participating in a gathering that consisted of two or more people outside of a Tier 4 area while living within the Tier 4 area of Derbyshire – contrary to Coronavirus restrictions. Fined £146, made to pay £90 court costs and £34 victim surcharge.

Bailey Rhodes, 18, of Whittington Lane, Unstone, Dronfield: Guilty, while living within the Tier 4 area of Derbyshire, of leaving the place he was living – contrary to Coronavirus restrictions. Fined £40, made to pay £90 court costs and £34 victim surcharge.

Jodie Morrison, 27, of Bradshaw Road, Chesterfield: Guilty of Guilty of driving above the speed limit of 40 miles per hour – namely 47 miles per hour – on the M1 where variable speed limits apply. Fined £40, made to pay £85 court costs and £32 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points.

Pashley Rikki, 25, of Hardwick Court, Staveley, Chesterfield: Guilty of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work. Order varied to include 12 rehabilitation activity days and 70 hours unpaid work.

Janis Bajars, 32, of Furnace Row, Somercotes, Alfreton: Guilty of failing to provide information identifying the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £660 made to pay £90 court costs and £66 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.
