Paul Weir, 52, Queen Street, Tideswell. Stalked victim by attending her home address and repeatedly caused damage to her vehicle. Found guilty and adjourned for a pre-sentence report.

Lee Hughes, 41, Devonshire Avenue North, New Whittington. Drove a Fiat Bravo while under the influence of cocaine. Guilty. Banned from driving for two years and given a six-month community order. Also made subject to a six-week curfew between 7pm to 7pm and made to pay £310 court costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

John Mather, 51, Flaxpiece Road, Clay Cross. Assault by beating. Pleaded guilty. Fined £80, made to pay compensation of £50, victim surcharge of of £32 and court costs of £85.

Failed to tell Chesterfield Borough Council she was maintaining a common household with her partner – which would affect her entitlement to housing benefit and income support. Pleaded guilty. Given three-month curfew with electronic tag between 8pm-6am ending on June 9. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

Adrianna Waite, 24, Houfton Road, Bolsover. Caught driving on the M1 near Tibshelf without insurance. Pleaded guilty. Licence endorsed with six penalty points. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Kyle Patrick, 29, Broad Oak Close, Swanwick. Assault by beating. Found guilty. Caught driving in Somercotes without a licence. Pleaded guilty. Driving without due care and attention in Somercotes. Paul Sealey, 44, Hardwick Street, Chesterfield. Two counts of assault by beating. Jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 15 months. Convicted at Lancashire Magistrates' Court. Ordered to pay £500 compensation and undertake alcohol and rehabilitation requirement.

Daniel Cokayne, 27, Sandringham Road, Derby. Drove a motor vehicle nearly twice over the legal drink-drive limit on the M1 North near Tibshelf. Also drove while disqualified and with no insurance. Found guilty. Jailed for 12 weeks, banned from driving for 50 months, made to pay victim surcharge of of £128.
