Teenage boy rushed to hospital after being stabbed in neck – with four arrests made in Derbyshire town

A teenage boy was left seriously injured after a stabbing in a Derbyshire town last night – with four arrests made in connection with the attack.

The incident occurred in Dale Road, Matlock, outside the Rubigo bar at around 8.00pm yesterday evening (Friday, August 12). A teenage boy was left with serious injuries after being stabbed in the neck.

Following this, officers then attended a house in Dale Road, Matlock Bath, at around 9.30pm. A man – believed to have been involved in the earlier incident – refused to leave the property, leading to the A6 being closed.

A woman inside the house was able to eventually leave unharmed and the man was arrested on suspicion of GBH by armed officers at 12.25am this morning (Saturday, August 13). The man, who is in his 20s, remains in police custody at this time.

Two other men, one in his 20s and the other in his 40s, as well as a woman in her 20s, have also been arrested in connection with the incident. They remain in police custody at this time. The victim of the stabbing remains in a serious condition in hospital.
