Police want to speak to this man after dog walker 'attacked' in Derbyshire park

Police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to after a dog walker was allegedly attacked in a Derbyshire park.

The incident happened at Greenwich Park off Nottingham Road, Ripley, between 1.45pm and 2.45pm on September 19.

The victim’s dog ran over to another dog, thought to be a white English bull terrier, and the owner allegedly kicked the victim’s dog away.

As the victim was trying to get his dog away, the owner of the English bull terrier then allegedly punched the victim, causing him to suffer swelling and bruising to his face.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have information which could help.

Anyone who recognises the man or anyone who has any information about the incident should call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101, quoting reference number 20*494313 and the name of the officer in the case, PC Annabelle Hood.
