Police swooped on a suspected drug dealer at Chesterfield’s Alma Leisure Park - seizing cannabis and cash.

The arrest came about as part of targeted patrols searching for cars thought to be used in illegal drug supply around the town.

After blocking the car in officers arrested the adult male driver and a young female passenger for possession with intent to supply.

Searches at their addresses uncovered a further substantial amount of cash and the driver’s sporty BMW was seized.
