Police release picture of man they want to speak to after ‘attack’ at Chesterfield taxi office

Police investigating an alleged attack at a taxi office in Chesterfield have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

A 49-year-old man was reportedly assaulted by another man at A-Line Taxis on Stephenson Place at around 10.10pm on October 8.

The victim suffered fractures to his eye socket, cheek, nose and jaw.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Enquiries have been ongoing and our officers are now turning to the public to help in tracing this man as he may be able to help.

“Do you recognise the man pictured? Or do you have any other information about this incident? If so, please contact us using one of the non emergency methods below.”
